| Jim
joined BASF as a Chemical Engineer in 1976. For twenty-six
years he worked in numerous manufacturing assignments in the
Inorganic Chemicals, Industrial Chemicals, Urethanes, and
Coatings divisions. These assignments include the positions
of production engineer, production superintendent, plant manager,
and director of operations. Jim also served as the Manager
of Corporate Capital Planning and has led several restructuring
and business integration teams before being named Senior Vice
President of Environment, Health & Safety in July 2004.
He chairs BASF’s North American Sustainability Council
and Industry Issues Management team and is active within the
American Chemistry Council.
Jim graduated in 1976 from West Virginia University with a
B. S. in Chemical Engineering and received an M.B.A. from
the Louisiana State University in 1997. His personal interests
include golf, jogging, reading and woodworking.

Patrick
R. Cairo

Patrick
Cairo is responsible for strategic planning and growth for
SUEZ ENVIRONMENT NORTH AMERICA (SENA) and United Water.
He is also responsible for external relations with multilateral
agencies and industry groups in the water sector. Cairo has
over 35 years experience in the water industry including 15
years with SENA and its parent company, SUEZ ENVIRONMENT
(SE). Until 2002, he served as Director of Technology and
Research for SE in Paris where he was responsible for all
its technology and research centers around the world. Prior
to that, Cairo served as CEO of United Water Services following
a three year tenure with SE as Director of International Water
Development for North America.
Cairo holds both a BS and MS in civil engineering from the
University of Pennsylvania.

Patricia
A. Calkins is the vice president of Environment Health and
Safety for the Xerox corporation. She is responsible for developing
and implementing sustainability policies throughout Xerox
that help save hundreds of millions of dollars annually for
the company world-wide. She is dedicated to strengthening
Xerox’s position as a pioneer in sustainability and is
committed to smart environmental management that demonstrates
that what’s doing right for the environment is not a
cost of doing business but an opportunity to benefit the world
in which we work and live.

Dr. Neil Hawkins serves as Vice President of Sustainability and Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) for The Dow Chemical Company. In this global role, Hawkins drives sustainability strategy across the company and is accountable for the implementation of Dow's transformational 2015 Sustainability Goals. He directly leads a team of sustainability and life-cycle professionals and also has global responsibility for Dow's organizations and programs for Product Safety/Toxicology, Regulatory Affairs, Medical/Health Services, Epidemiology, EH&S Auditing and Compliance, and Remediation. Previously, Hawkins led EH&S and Security programs for a major Dow manufacturing and R&D site, and served as global EH&S Director for the industry's largest commodity chemical business. Additionally, he has served in a wide range of other EH&S, Operations, and Public Policy roles since joining the company in 1988
Hawkins is also a widely recognized expert in sustainability, health, and environmental policy. He serves on the National Academies Roundtable for Science and Technology for Sustainability, and on the Green Chemistry Science Advisory Panels of both California and Michigan. He is a member of the International Leadership Council for The Nature Conservancy, and Board member of The Keystone Center and Global Water Challenge. Hawkins also lead's Dow's global university relationships in the area of sustainability, including the Dow Sustainable Innovation Student Challenge Awards, and he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise at the University of Michigan.
In his community, Hawkins has served in multiple, diverse board appointments, and currently is on the Board of the Midland Foundation. He and his family are also very active in disability advocacy. Hawkins holds masters and doctoral degrees from Harvard University, School of Public Health, and a bachelor's degree from Georgia Tech.

| Ann
is a Vice President at GE, where she leads the company’s
global environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs and
is responsible for ensuring that GE’s global operations
comply with applicable EHS laws and regulations, managing
the Company’s environmental litigation, and advising
business leaders on environmental policy issues.
From 2004 to 2006, Ann was General Counsel of the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA). She is also the former
Chief Counsel of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Environment
and Public Works and served as the Counselor to the Secretary
of the Department of the Interior (DOI).
As General Counsel of EPA, Ann served as the agency lead on
numerous Supreme Court and federal court briefs, including
two landmark Supreme Court decisions concerning wetland protection
under the Clean Water Act. Her work also included supervising
the legal implementation of many rules, including the Clean
Air Mercury Rule and the Clean Air Interstate Rule; drafting
immediate guidance on novel legal issues to facilitate post-Hurricane
Katrina and Rita clean-up; developing agency legal opinions
regarding water transfers and application of pesticides to
U.S. waters; and reviewing legal issues relating to permitting
of energy development projects.
From 2001-2004, Ann served as Counselor to the Secretary of
DOI. She was responsible for advising the Secretary and developing
policy options on issues such as the Everglades, Endangered
Species Act, Indian water rights settlements, off shore oil
leasing and mining.
While serving as Chief Counsel to the Senate Environment and
Public Works Committee, Ann was responsible for developing
legislative strategies on the Clean Water Act, hazardous waste
issues, NEPA, the Endangered Species Act, general oversight
and enforcement issues. She previously served as Counsel to
Senator Dirk Kempthorne’s Subcommittee on Drinking Water,
Fisheries and Wildlife. She joined Senator Kempthorne’s
staff in 1995 and, as his environmental counsel, worked on
his legislation to reauthorize the Safe Drinking Water Act.
In the 105th Congress, she was one of the principal staff
responsible for drafting and negotiating the Endangered Species
Recovery Act of 1997.
Prior to joining GE in 2008, Ann was a partner and co-chair
of Crowell & Moring’s Environment & Natural
Resources Group in Washington, D.C., where she provided counseling,
litigation and legislative representation to a wide range
of companies and trade associations.
Ann is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and
the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She received her J.D. from
the University of Pennsylvania in 1986, and her B.A. with
High Honors from Swarthmore College in 1983.

Karen
I Klimas has served as the Vice President of Global Safety
& Environment for Merck & Co., Inc. since 2007. In
this capacity, she is responsible for all aspects of occupational
safety, environmental protection and management for the approximately
60,000 Merck employees engaged in research, development, manufacturing
and packaging of medicines and vaccines at 49 operating locations
in 26 countries and sales and distribution globally. Ms. Klimas
is also a member of Merck's Corporate Responsibility Council.
Prior to joining Merck, Ms. Klimas held environment, health
and safety positions of increasing responsibility at General
Electric over a 20 year period. Ms. Klimas holds a Bachelor
of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of
Illinois and earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business
at the University of Pennsylvania.

Craig
Schwartz was appointed General Manager, John Middleton Co.
in July 2008. In this position, he leads the Company's efforts
to responsibly and effectively develop, manufacture and market
superior branded cigars and pipe tobacco to adult tobacco
consumers. Prior to this assignment, Craig had been Vice President,
Strategy & Business Development for Philip Morris USA
since September 2004. Subsequent to April 2008, he held this
role for Altria Client Services.

David
Struhs is currently Vice President of Environmental Affairs
and Sustainability at International Paper. Mr. Struhs began
his career at EPA as part of the team that developed the strategy
to clean up Boston Harbor. Since then, he has served as Environmental
Secretary in Florida, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department
of Environmental Protection and Chief of Staff at the President’s
Council on Environmental Quality. He has been appointed to
the National Electricity Advisory Board by the U.S. Secretary
of Energy and the National Advisory Council on Environmental
Technology and Policy by the EPA Administrator. Mr. Struhs
holds degrees from Indiana and Harvard universities and was
a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Nairobi.
